It’s been hotter than hell around here lately. For some reason, Los Angeles always seems to deliver an Indian Summer. Just when you think you’re out of the woods and on your way to Christmas trees and hot toddies – BAM, heatwave.
After sweating it out on the freeway I got to thinking about how under-appreciated beer is. While obviously its the beverage of choice for all undergrads and many forever frat-boys throughout the nation, sometimes its a little heavy… or a little light… or a little bit like piss-water. Then it dawned on me: the beer cocktail. Everything good about beer, and then some.
I called in reinforcements for a taste test and stirred it up:
